Report from conference in Oxford (11-13 May 2023)

From 11-13 May, Karim and Anders visited a bucolic town on the outskirts of Oxford to discuss with other researchers how to increase diversity and pluralism in the study of Existential risk. The conference was very interesting, and we were delighted to meet old acquaintances IRL after the pandemic. Both Karim and Anders made presentations at the conference. Karim gave a presentation on longtermism and cluelessness, as well as a presentation with material from his upcoming book, and Anders presented a talk on existential risks and justice.
