Video: Booktalk on “What we owe the future” with Karim Jebari (12 September 2023)

On Septemer 12, Karim Jebari joined Stefan Schubert, researcher at EA Sweden in a panel discussion on Longtermism and the future of humanity at Stora Nygatan 7 (SN), an event scene in Gamla Stan. The discussion revolved around William MacAskills book "What we owe the future", that has been recently translated to Swedish and published in Sweden. Karim argued that we need to distinguish between Effective Altruism, that is an organization with a very broad set of values and principles, from Longtermism, which is a much more specific and radical view.
