Report from the After Work: Preventing Social Collapse and Animal Suffering (8 December 2023)

On Friday December 8 the Mimir Center invited colleagues, researchers and practitioners to an after-work event at the Institute for Futures Studies. The event started with an introduction by our principal investigator Karim Jebari.

Karim discussed the Mimir Center's objectives and the key themes guiding our research.

Emma Engström presented some ideas for research on future risks and social collapse.

Julia Mosquera talked about the ethical concerns regarding our relationship with and treatment of non-human animals.

The presentations were followed by drinks, vegan canapées and many interesting discussion. Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a successful evening!
